The piece, depicting Kermit sitting on a log with his signature banjo, took 6 hours to draw. In the video, the Rainbow Connection song from the original Muppet Movie (1979) plays, as the piece is clearly inspired by its opening scene.

Watch the full time-lapse below. This is far from the only chalk art to appear at EPCOT, as multiple 3D Photo Ops circulate through the Festival, while other art can be found along the bridge to World Showcase from World Celebration. Other chalk art can be seen throughout the pavilions.

The Muppets appear to be on Disney’s mind at the moment, as The Muppet Show special on Disney+ reached nearly 8 million viewers in just over a week since its debut on February 4. A rumor has spread that more episodes are already in the works. The latest pin Tuesday also included a lot of Muppet-themed pins. Finally, The Muppets themselves commemorated Muppet Treasure Island‘s 30th anniversary with promises of future pirate shenanigans.
