New frames for a shade canopy have been added above a seating area in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World.

New Light Fixtures in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

We spotted these new installations around the Galaxy’s Edge seating area nearest to Toy Story Land. They’ll eventually hold canopies to provide additional shade.

These horizontal light bars, located directly above the benches, are a new installation. The vertical light poles flanking them are original.

The canopy’s structure resembles weathered pipes in the same rusty, “junky space” style as the rest of Galaxy’s Edge.
