Robert Duvall, best known for his roles in “The Godfather” and “Apocalypse Now,” passed away at the age of 95 on Sunday, February 15, 2026.

According to a statement made by his PR agency on behalf of his wife Luciana, he died peacefully at his home in Middleburg, Virginia.
He was the lead in THX 1138, the first feature-length movie from George Lucas. He starred in several Disney-produced movies, including his role as “Joseph Pulitzer” in Newsies (1992). Several Touchstone Pictures projects he was in include Open Range (2003), Phenomenon (1996), A Civil Action (1998), and Gone in 60 Seconds (2000).
