Another collection of apparel, home goods, and more have arrived at Walt Disney World. This collection, called Walt Disney World Storybook Collection, features beloved characters in an updated version of artwork that was used on merchandise many years ago.
We spotted several of these items already, including the throw blanket, pressed penny book, photo frame, autograph book, pen, and reusable bags. We found the bulk of these items in the Emporium at Magic Kingdom.
Characters on the art include (but are not limited to) Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Clarabelle Cow, Chip ‘n’ Dale, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Moana, Pua, the Hatbox Ghost, a Pirates of the Caribbean pirate, Cinderella, Prince Charming, Tiana, Henry and Baby Oscar from Country Bear Musical Jamboree, Baymax, Anna and Elsa, Mufasa and Simba, Aladdin and Jasmine on the Magic Carpet, Winnie the Pooh, Orange Bird, Buzz and Woody, Stitch, Dumbo, Figment, and Tinker Bell.
WDW Storybook Collection
Adult Apparel
Jacket – $79.99
This is a blue bomber-style jacket with a button-up front and ribbed cuffs, hem, and neck. The cuffs and hem have white stripes on them. A yellow Mickey icon and Walt Disney World wordmark are embroidered in yellow on the left chest. The buttons also feature Mickey icons. There are two front pockets.
On the back is the collection’s full artwork. Dozens of characters are pictured in front of Cinderella Castle and a Mickey head background. The Walt Disney World wordmark is in gold across the bottom.
Spirit Jersey – $79.99
The Spirit Jersey is also blue with a golden puffy ink “D” logo on the chest. “EST. 1971,” the year Walt Disney World opened, is below the logo.
On the back, Tinker Bell is casting magic on the Walt Disney World wordmark, also in puffy ink. Around the lettering is golden pixie dust.
T-Shirt – $36.99
This t-shirt is white with the key art on the chest. Tink is pictured at the top casting magic over the characters while Mickey and Minnie are in the front.
Youth Apparel
Spirit Jersey – $59.99
The youth Spirit Jersey is light blue instead of dark blue. The Disney “D” logo and “EST. 1971” are in gold puffy ink on the chest.
“Walt Disney World” is on the back with Tinker Bell and pixie dust. The key art is below.
Shirt – $34.99
A youth shirt in the collection is pink with tulle ruffled sleeves and hem. The key art is on the chest with the Walt Disney World wordmark embroidered in gold.
T-Shirt – $29.99
Another youth tee is white with the art on the chest. The wordmark is in metallic gold.
On the back, also in metallic gold, are the autographs of Winnie the Pooh, Woody, Baymax, Stitch, Mickey Mouse, Buzz Lightyear, and Pluto.
Onesie – $21.99
The art is on the chest of this light blue baby onesie.
The same autographs as the youth tee are on the back of the onesie in rainbow metallic lettering.
Accessories
MagicBand+ – $44.99
This light blue MagicBand+ has Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto on the puck. Donald, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Goofy, and Clarabelle Cow are on the band.
Canvas Drawstring Bag – $24.99
One side of this backpack has the artwork, this time depicting with a full sky instead of a Mickey head background. There are a few additional characters, like Genie from Aladdin. The other side is solid blue. It has a handle and adjustable straps.
Home Goods and Home Decor
Photo Frame – $49.99
This 3D sculpted frame fits a 3.5″ x 5″ photo. Around the photo are figures of various characters. Above is Cinderella Castle against a sky of characters and fireworks. On the back is a kickstand. It comes boxed up for easier transport.
Throw Blanket – $44.99
This fuzzy throw blanket is 50″ by 60″. It’s dark blue with the key art taking up most of the design. It comes wrapped in a dark blue ribbon.
Towel – $34.99
The towel is a dark blue with the Walt Disney World wordmark at the bottom. Tinker Bell casts magic dust above it.
Tumbler – $27.99
The key art is on both sides of this blue plastic tumbler. It has a white square handle and white lid.
The lid twists off. It includes a clear plastic straw and a silicone Mickey straw topper.
Photo Album – $24.99
The photo album is dark blue with the key art on the front. On the back is Tink with the Walt Disney World wordmark. The spine is golden with a blue version of the wordmark.
Inside are photo pages with lined columns next to them. Each page can hold two photos.
Puzzle – $24.99
The 750-piece puzzle creates the full artwork. When put together, it’s 32″ x 15″. The puzzle is recommended for ages 8+.
Ornament – $22.99
The ornament is a textured depiction of the key art hanging on a dark blue ribbon with a golden clasp.
Autograph Book – $19.99
Wide art of the characters and castle is on the front of the autograph book. “Official Autograph Book” text is in the upper corner. The Mickey-shaped art is on the back. It has a shiny holographic finish. In addition to autographs, it holds 4″ x 6″ photos in 25 photo sleeves.
Pressed Penny Book – $17.99
The most characters are pictured on the pressed penny book. The front is the main art also featured on other merchandise. It extends onto the back and the inner folds.
More characters included in this version of the art include Snow White, Mulan, Baloo and Mowgli, Wreck-It-Ralph and Vanellope, Pinocchio, Lady and the Tramp, Elliot from Pete’s Dragon, Belle and the Beast, Robin Hood and Maid Marion, Rafiki, Timon, and Pumbaa. In the sky is Carl’s house from Up, the Three Caballeros, an Avatar Ikran/Banshee, the Millennium Falcon and an X-Wing from Star Wars, Bernard and Miss Bianca flying on Orville from The Rescuers, Remy and the ghost of Gusteau from Ratatouille, Zazu, and two birds from Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room.
The interior has transparent slots to put a pressed penny or other commemorative coin. They are set against a dark blue background patterned with colorful character autographs.
Mug – $16.99
The full art wraps around this stoneware mug. It has a round dark blue handle.
The interior is light blue. It’s dishwasher-safe and microwave-safe.
Giant Pencil and Pencil Sharpener – $14.99
This giant pencil is dark blue with the colorful silhouettes of various characters patterned across it. The Walt Disney World wordmark is in white. It has a built-in eraser.
It comes with a dark blue pencil sharpener.
Autograph Pen – $9.99
The pen is a metallic silver with blue silhouettes of characters. The ends are solid blue, with a Mickey icon to click. “Official Autograph Pen” text is on the side.
Postcard – $7.99
This is a wide postcard. The top edge has a scalloped, cloud-like cut. On the back are lines for the address and stamp, with a faded version of the Walt Disney World wordmark.
Large Bag -$5.99
The new reusable tote features the wide art on the front. It has gold trim and shoulder handles. On the white side panels are character autographs in various colors.
Small Bag -$4.99
The small bag has a smaller version of the key art. It also has gold trim and handles, and the autographs on the sides.
Keychain – $14.99
The keychain has a gold-tone chain and lobster claw clip. The large metal pendant is the collection’s key art.
