On our visit to Disney Springs today, February 19, we noticed new rolling planters installed outside of the future savory food site for Gideon’s Bakehouse.
Rolling Planters Installed
Each planter contains medium-sized green shrubbery in a brown wooden box that has wheels attached to the bottom, allowing the planters to be moved. The planters surround the former Art of Shaving location on all sides.
The front door still has a posted sign that says, “Please Pardon Our Appearance | Something New is Coming Soon.”
Six Ravens by Gideon’s Bakehouse
On January 16, 2026 – the fifth anniversary of their Disney Springs location – Gideon’s Bakehouse announced a new savory food location would be taking over the Art of Shaving location. After a permit was filed for the location by Disney on behalf of Gideon’s Bakehouse owner Steve Lewis, Gideon’s-style artwork appeared in the windows.
The shop will offer Coffyns, an original term for hand pies made of fluffy yeast bread, as well as potatoes, local draft beer, and desserts.
