The majority of the work is taking place in the splash pad area and the Crush-themed slide. Both were refurbished in 2023 to include Nemo and Friends. Scaffolding is currently installed around the slide as crews tend to the needed refurbishments.

The Nemo splashpad is adjacent to the main pool area. Support beams and plywood are still stacked on the ground around the splash pad itself as work continues.

Currently, the main pool is still full of water, and no work appears to be surrounding it. The doors to the pool area are closed, and plywood is stacked near them. Orange caution cones sit at the bottom of the stairs.

During the refurbishment, Pixar Place guests will be able to use the pools at the Disneyland Hotel. The Disneyland Hotel is a short walk from the Pixar Place Hotel, and Disney is also providing transportation.
