During our recent visit to Universal Studios Hollywood, we noticed a few construction projects throughout CityWalk. The Universal Cinema also has new posters and decals for an upcoming film.
CityWalk Construction
Near the security entrance, fencing surrounded a long stretch of sidewalk for an apparent refurbishment. Black scrim was covering the fencing, but we could see through in some areas.
It appears pavement has been torn up. The trunk of a palm tree in the construction zone was wrapped in plastic to keep it safe.
In the early morning, a crew member was working on the splash pad, which was blocked off by red ropes. Multiple fountain blocks had been removed.

A few hours later, the splash pad was operating but was still blocked off. Crews may have been testing it.
Universal Cinema
The Universal Cinema has new posters and window decals for the upcoming Universal Pictures film Reminders of Him. It will be in theaters on March 14, 2026.
