Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa has a limited-time design featured on its room keycards in celebration of its 25th anniversary.
Grand Californian 25th Anniversary Room Keys
On a recent stay at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, we were pleasantly surprised to see our room keycards sporting a new, classic design to celebrate the hotel’s 25th anniversary.
The new card design features an elegant, vintage-inspired design rendered in a warm gold-on-cream color palette. The background is filled with intricate symmetrical scrollwork and floral motifs, evoking an ornate, early 20th-century decorative style reminiscent of classic California Craftsman or Art Nouveau influences.
The typography at the center of the card features the hotel’s proper text logo framed nicely by the surrounding scrollwork pattern. In the upper-left corner is a circular medallion containing the Disneyland “D” logo. In the lower-right corner, “25” appears inside another circular badge, commemorating the hotel’s 25th anniversary.
The new card adds a nice small touch for guests as Disney’s Grand Californian and Disney’s California Adventure celebrate their joint 25th anniversary this year.
Guests at the hotel can enjoy new offerings as part of the celebration, including the debut appearance of Humphrey the Bear as part of Storytellers Cafe’s character dining.
