Two Buildings for New Pool at Disney’s Fort Wilderness

We spotted two new buildings at the site of the new pool at Disney’s Fort Wilderness. The pool is part of an expansion to the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool area.

We previously shared an aerial view of the buildings last month, but we got our first in-person look at them. They are presumably restrooms and dining locations.

The buildings both have stone on the bottom half of the exterior facade. Yellow and white paneling appears on the top half, but the roofs are not complete yet.

Crews were actively working at the site during our visit.

The expansion will also include a new pool, possible hot tubs, a tennis court, and two pickleball courts. It’s not clear yet where exactly the tennis and pickleball courts will be. Construction will continue into mid-2026.

The Meadow Swimmin’ Pool, as well as the Wilderness Swimmin’ Pool, remain open during construction. However, seating around the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool may be limited and guests may see or hear construction in the area.
