The two buildings at the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool area of Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort have been painted brown as saw crew members work on the roof. We also noticed what appears to be a breezeway under construction between the buildings.
Meadow Swimmin’ Pool Area Construction

The buildings are part of an expansion to the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool area that will also include another pool. During our last visit, the buildings’ siding was a pale yellow color. It has now been painted a thematic brown.

There are sheets of roofing underlayment across the roof of one of the buildings. Two crew members were working near the top of the roof during our Friday visit, possibly securing the underlayment. The final roofing will go on top of this layer.

The other building also has roofing underlayment near its edge. But most of its weather-proof sheathing is still visible.

Between the two buildings, several crew members were working on and around a breezeway structure connecting them. These buildings appear to be a dining location and restrooms.
The expansion will also include a tennis court and two pickleball courts. Construction will continue into mid-2026.
The Meadow Swimmin’ Pool, as well as the Wilderness Swimmin’ Pool, remain open during construction. However, seating around the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool may be limited, and guests may see or hear construction in the area.
