NBCUniversal is celebrating its 100th anniversary. In a press release, they share that Epic Universe is expanding, although details were left out.
Epic Universe is Expanding

NBC was founded 100 years as the first broadcast network in America. In their release, they share many of the accomplishments—like successful films Jurassic Park and Despicable Me, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, and real-world experiences at its theme parks.
In talking about the theme park division, NBCUniversal shares future plans for Epic Universe, stating that:
NBCUniversal continues to scale immersive experiences as one of only two global media companies with a theme parks division. This includes expanding Universal Epic Universe, developing a new theme park in the United Kingdom – the company’s first in Europe – and introducing new formats including its first Universal Kids Resort and year-round horror experiences in Chicago and Las Vegas.

Epic Universe opened on May 22, 2025 and is still not operating at full capacity. There are plans for expansion though, as a permit has been filed recently for the rumored event space in Celestial Park and work has begun on the Harry Potter expansion.
