Universal Studios Hollywood Announces Opening Timeline for Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift

The countdown has begun for Universal Studios Hollywood’s next big coaster themed to the street racing franchise. Universal Studios shared the opening timeline for the attraction.

Universal Studios Hollywood has shared that the ride will open in the summer of 2026.

The short teaser features a group of guests riding Fast & Furious Hollywood Drift. “It’s time to ride like never before. Buckle up for the next chapter of Fast & Furious at Universal Studios.”

Fast & Furious Hollywood Drift Opens This Summer

We have been closely tracking construction progress on the new coaster since work began at Universal Studios Hollywood. Hollywood Drift is also coming to Universal Studios Florida, taking the place of the now-demolished Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit.

The Fast & Furious film saga is best known for its street racing action and character-driven plotlines. The upcoming Hollywood Drift coaster will return to the series’ roots by featuring a story set in Southern California, where the first film and later scenes throughout the series take place.
