In a surprising flip two months into 2026, Zootopia 2 has surpassed A Minecraft Movie to become the biggest domestic released in 2025.
Zootopia 2: Highest-Grossing Release of 2025
Zootopia 2 has passed A Minecraft Movie, reaching $ 424.2 million in North America. The Minecraft film ended with $ 424.08. Zootopia 2 had already become the highest-grossing movie internationally and over the world, but it has now taken the domestic crown as well.
In addition, it overtook Inside Out 2 to become the highest-grossing Hollywood animated film ever.
Zootopia 2 has already arrived on digital streaming via premium video on January 27. A 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD release is scheduled for March 3, 2026. There is no Disney+ streaming date yet, however, we expect it to follow previous films and head to Disney+ in mid-March.
Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde go undercover to solve the case of the mysterious reptile who arrives in Zootopia and turns the mammal metropolis upside down. Their growing partnership will be tested like never before. Jared Bush and Byron Howard are directors, and Yvette Merino produced the film.
