Big Hero 6-Inspired San Fransokyo Street on the Disney Adventure

One of the seven themed areas aboard the Disney Adventure cruise ship is the Big Hero 6-inspired San Fransokyo Street. Here, young guests can visit teen and tween clubs, while guests of all ages can enjoy movies, shopping, and an arcade. You might even see Baymax!

San Fransokyo Street

San Fransokyo Street is on Deck 7, Aft. The space is heavily decorated to bring the story of Big Hero 6 to life, including Mochi napping on the roof next to some flowers. Lanterns hang from the ceiling, and plants line the walkway. Various shop signs help pull together the heavily themed atmosphere.

The vibrant energy of Tokyo meets the laid-back charm of San Francisco on this lively “street” inspired by the Disney film Big Hero 6. Explore urban-themed tween and teen youth clubs—Edge and Vibe—cleverly disguised as charming shops. Catch a classic or first-release Disney movie at Baymax Cinemas. Pick up special keepsakes at Duffy and Friends Shop and join the Duffy and Friends Discovery Quest. Follow clues to find lost items around the ship for a special prize. And don’t miss the one-of-a-kind family gaming lounge, Big Hero Arcade, featuring video games and immersive, high-tech experiences. While there, be sure to keep an eye out for Baymax, the film’s larger-than-life healthcare companion robot.

Before hitting the street, you’ll have to pass through the metro station where a newsstand has the latest news and merchandise. Everything is laid out on green shelves.

Edge and Vibe

Edge (for ages 11 to 14) and Vibe (for ages 14 to 17) are at the front of San Fransokyo Street, near the elevators and newsstand.

The exterior of Vibe, for example, has a record store display complete with a record player. headphones, instruments, and a neon “Good Vibes Only” sign. Plus, there’s also a reminder that bot fighting is prohibited.

Be on the lookout for a full tour of these youth spaces (and the rest of the ship) very soon!

Big Hero Arcade

Across from the teen and tween clubs is Big Hero Arcade. Graffiti-style art on the brick wall lets guests know they’ve arrived.
