Disney recently filed six new permits for upcoming maintenance work on several of the Art of Animation Resort’s guest buildings.
Art of Animation Resort Permits

The large, campus-style resort has 10 guest buildings in total. The six permits that were recently filed affect the following buildings:
- 1650 Animation Way Bay Lake (Cars-themed building)
- 1700 Animation Way Bay Lake (Cars-themed building)
- 1750 Animation Way Bay Lake (Cars-themed building)
- 1800 Animation Way Bay Lake (Finding Nemo-themed building)
- 1900 Animation Way Bay Lake (Finding Nemo-themed building)
- 1950 Animation Way Bay Lake (The Lion King-themed building)
All of the permits allow Ferran Services & Contracting Inc. to provide “mechanical work” to these guest buildings. The owner of the permit is Disney’s Facility Asset Management group, so the work is likely maintenance-related. The permits were filed on March 20, 2026, and will expire one year from now.
