EPCOT has a new procedure for guests hoping to buy limited edition pins on “Pin Tuesday.” New pins are released every Tuesday and increasingly more guests are visiting the Walt Disney World theme parks in the early morning to purchase pins.

EPCOT Pin Tuesday Procedures

At EPCOT, new pins are released at Disney Traders at the end of the World Showcase bridge. For the past month, however, Disney has had guests queue at the front of the park for pins. Cast members are now creating a queue on the ground with tape.

There’s also a new sign for cast members to hold. It points one direction for the Disney Pins line and another direction for early entry for hotel guests.

As guests line up for pins, cast members give them wristbands, which indicate they will be able to purchase pins. We arrived as soon as cars were let into the parking lot and were 120th in line.
