Sunshine Seasons has reopened their grab-and-go “Sweets” cabinet after testing a change in procedures.

Last week, the EPCOT quick-service restaurant closed the “Sweets” cabinet and moved pastries behind the nearby counter. Guests had to ask a cast member for their selection instead of grabbing it themselves. According to cast, it was a test of more hygienic operations.
The test apparently determined the procedure change wasn’t worth the effort. Cinnamon rolls, croissants, and other treats are back on the “Sweets” shelf. Guests can move the glass doors to grab what they want, then take it to the checkout counter.
