Disney Legend Josh Gad has once again taken on the role of a Disney Parks Cast Member, this time at the Storybook Land Canal Boats at Disneyland.
Josh Gad Joins the Storybook Land Canal Boats
Gad shares he’s about to live out his dreams of becoming a storyteller. He invites guests to take “a little boat ride” and jokingly answers “where?!” when a guest asks, “Is that Josh Gad?!”
The video then shows him on a Storybook Land canal boat with guests as he hilariously highlights the scenes on the attraction.
“This is called a bridge.”
When sailing past the Frozen scene, he jokes that he is not familiar with this area and tells the Disney Ducks to not eat his friends, as they have been through enough trauma. Watch the full video below:
Gad has previously been a Jungle Cruise skipper (a life-long dream of his), a Kilimanjaro Safaris guide, a Disneyland Railroad conductor, and a caretaker at the Haunted Mansion.
Storybook Land Canal Boats
The Storybook Land Canal Boats at Disneyland reopened in November 2025 following a three-month long closure for refurbishment. The biggest change for the attraction was the addition of Rapunzel’s Tower and other Tangled elements.
