Cinnamon Sponge Cake with Maple Buttercream Filling topped with Pastel Chocolate and Springtime Sprinkles
The cinnamon sponge cake is soft and moist. The maple buttercream offers a sweet contrast to the spicy cinnamon. The pastel chocolate on top is beautiful. With the sprinkles, they make it a more festive treat.
The cake holds well but also melts in your mouth. It’s not the most impressive treat, but it’s cute and exactly what it wants to be. If you don’t like cinnamon, you won’t like it.
