Crews removed a section of the roof from the north side of the tent. The white framework is now visible behind trees.

The removal isn’t a surprise considering the roof of Pete’s Silly Sideshow was also removed. We knew both refurbishment projects would be focused on their tent exteriors thanks to permits Disney filed in January.

We could also see a gap in the roof from in front of Pete’s Silly Sideshow. Big Top closed in late February after Pete’s closed in early January.

Half of the beige scrim around Big Top Souvenirs has also been replaced with themed scrim that resembles the blue tent. Though behind construction walls, this is a little bit more pleasant on the eyes than the beige scrim.

Due to the construction, the “Smellephants on Parade” activity has been altered. Minnie and Goofy are meeting at the entrance to Storybook Circus, while Donald and Daisy are meeting by the train station. The train station mural was recently refreshed.
