REVIEW: Frozen Cocoa Drink is a Glorified Chocolate Milk Mess

We tried the new seasonal frozen cocoa at Goofy’s Candy Company, a store known for selling candy, treats, and slushies in Disney Springs.

Seasonal Frozen Cocoa – $8.99

Frozen Hot Cocoa by Joffrey’s Topped with Mini Marshmallows, Whipped Cream, Fresh Strawberries, Sprinkles, and a Chocolatey-Dipped Mickey Marshmallow with Freeze-Dried Strawberry Bits

The first thing we noticed was that the frozen cocoa had already started melting by the time it was brought out to us. The fluffy cone of whipped cream that was shown in the picture of the item had deflated on top and we were left with a sticky, dribbling mess.

While the strawberry and Mickey Mouse marshmallow were nice additions, the seasonal frozen cocoa fell flat for us. Joffrey’s is always good and we love chocolate, but this felt more like glorified chocolate milk. It’s rather expensive for what you get.

We would recommend skipping this item if you don’t like chocolate or don’t want to deal with a sticky mess.
