A couple recently rented out Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT for their wedding welcome party, an event dedicating to welcoming guests to the wedding celebrations.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind Rented for Wedding
TikTok user @chels_at_the_castle (Chels) shared a video with the text “POV: You rent out Guardians of the Galaxy for your wedding welcome party.” She didn’t share many details but said “everyone had a great time.”
Chels wrote in the caption, “We kicked off Wedding weekend by surprising all our wedding guests with a private ride on Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind. It was amazing seeing the look of suprise [sic] on everyone’s face and the joy of riding our favorite ride for the first time! So much fun!”
Chels clarified in the comments that, unfortunately, she did not get to pick the song that played during the ride. See her video below.
The welcome party also celebrated in the Italy pavilion.
Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons facilitates these kinds of events at Walt Disney World. Weddings and wedding-related events can take place almost anywhere at the parks — if the price is right. Wedding events are also contingent on park hours. Chels’ wedding welcome party appeared to be in the evening, meaning their visit to Cosmic Rewind was likely after the ride had closed to other guests.
