Feder will report to Disney Live Action President Daria Cercek, who reports to David Greenbaum, President, Disney Live Action and 20th Century Studios. His counterparts are EVP, Production Jessica Virtue and SVP, Production Allison Erlikhman.

He comes from Megan Ellison’s Annapurna Pictures, where he was a founding member. During his time there, he oversaw production of Everybody Wants Some!! and served as the company’s executive on The Grandmaster and Spring Breakers.

He formerly served as Vice President of film development for Lucasfilm from 2016-2019, working on titles like Solo: A Star Wars Story. Feder earned a master’s degree from the London School of Economics and an undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois.

The news coming during Disney’s smoothest CEO transition in decades. During previous handoffs, Disney lost Walt Disney Studios Chair Jeffrey Katzenberg, CFO Jay Rasulo, CFO Tom Staggs, Direct-to-Consumer & International Chair Kevin Mayer, and General Entertainment Content Chair Peter Rice.

But this time, almost everyone remains where they are. The only exception would be Chief Communications Officer Kristina Schake who has been replaced by Paul Roeder.
