There are several blocked-off patches of concrete on Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom this morning, March 20. Crews started refurbishing the sidewalk earlier this week, and work has now moved into the road.
Main Street Refurbishment

Two large sections of the street in Town Square are surrounded by rope and stanchions. The black pavement in the blocked-off areas looks fresh and new.

Some cast members were nearby to help with the flow of guests. The patches are right in the path of guests entering the park.

A small section of a nearby curb was also replaced overnight and blocked by stanchions.

Near the center of Main Street, outside the arcade facade, another large section of pavement is blocked. Alongside the fresh concrete, old pavement had scoring marks, indicating it will be torn up soon.

The roped-off areas will likely be back open tomorrow, March 21. More sections of the street might then be blocked as the refurbishment continues.

The patch of boards remains outside Crystal Arts.
