The steady progress on Disneyland’s Coco boat ride continues as grass, plants, and a sidewalk have been cleared from the site in preparation for construction.
More Clearing at Coco Construction Site

We headed over to check on the construction of the future Coco attraction at Disney California Adventure, and we found that more grass, plants, and concrete have been dug up. Specifically, the half-circle that had grass and a sidewalk is now a flattened area of dirt.
Also, the pile of trees have been removed, but now there is a rubble of materials in its place. Nearby, an excavator digs up some land. Orange fencing has also been installed in the perimeter of the work site.

For comparison purposes, pictured above is what it looked like during our last visit on March 11.

The palm trees remain for now. We assume they will remain as they are outside the perimeter fence along Disneyland Drive.
Coco Ride

The Coco ride remains fairly vague in its concept. Disney has only shared that guests will follow Miguel into the Land of the Dead, hear some of the movie’s iconic music, and see skeletal Audio-Animatronics characters. The only piece of revealed concept art indicates it will be a boat ride, and the construction site shows it will be part of Pixar Pier, located behind the Incredicoaster.
