Disney’s Animal Kingdom has plenty of The Lion King merchandise, but there’s even more that has hit the shelves in the last few days.
We found these at Riverside Depot, Island Mercantile, and Mombasa Marketplace.
The Lion King Merchandise
Scar Mug – $19.99
This cream-colored mug features Scar from The Lion King. On one side, he is prowling like he’s on the attack with a menacing face, and the other side shows his portrait, teeth bared. There are gray and beige leaves and abstract organic shapes surrounding him.
Pull Toy – $19.99
Recommended for ages 18 months and older, this pull toy has Simba in a zebra car, Timon in a giraffe car, and Pumbaa in an elephant car.
The figures bob up and down when the string is pulled, and they are removable from their cars.
Hakuna Matata Water Bottle – $29.99
The blue water bottle has “Hakuna Matata” text on both sides in orange block text and African artwork. The screw lid has an image of Simba’s cave painting.
One the “Matata” side, a small image of Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa is on the “a,” “t,” and “a.”
Simba Baseball Cap – $32.99
The butter-yellow baseball cap features Simba’s cave painting. His signature is on one side, and there is an adjustable strap in the back to ensure a proper fit.
Bucket Hat – $36.99
Also at Mombasa Marketplace is this patterned bucket hat. It features a brown-orange pattern of animal prints, suns, and Simba against a darker brown background. A brown and yellow embroidered The Lion King patch is on the front. It has an adjustable fit and a chin strap.
Hakuna Matata Tote – $19.99
The front of this white canvas tote shows Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa in their walking across the log pose from the time-lapse part of the “Hakuna Matata” sequence. Behind them are the words “Hakuna Matata” in bold, blue letters. On the back is the movie’s wordmark in yellow.
Tank Top – $29.99
Similar to the bag above, this grey tank top also says “Hakuna Matata” in bold letters on the front with the iconic trio walking. However, the letters are stylized in red and blue patterns, and the characters are walking in between the two words. The back is plain.
Belt Bag – $34.99
In dark brown, this belt bag is covered in a pattern of circles. The circles either have iconography or patterns related to The Lion King or grown Simba roaring at the top of Pride Rock.
There are three zippered compartments on this belt bag, which has an orange strap.
Zip-Up Hoodie – $59.99
This brown hoodie features Rafiki’s drawing of young Simba on the front left pocket. The pocket and sleeves feature criss-cross stitching.
On the back is The Lion King logo above artwork of the animals arriving at Pride Rock to see baby Simba.
Youth T-Shirt – $29.99
The youth tee is gray-green with artwork of young Simba on the chest. His face is made of four panels with different geometric pattern backgrounds. The film logo is in puffy ink above him.
