A new Loungefly backpack and a small collection of other travel-oriented items themed to Universal Studios is now available for CityWalk guests.
Universal Studios Collection
Universal Parks and Universal Pictures fans alike may enjoy this new batch of merchandise themed to the company as a whole. The new items include a keychain, lanyard, refillable Freestyle cup, and a collectible Loungefly backpack.
Much of the collection leans into the company’s long history in cinema. Universal Pictures traces its roots to 1912, making it one of the oldest movie studios still in operation. Over the decades, the studio evolved through multiple ownership changes and expanded its portfolio to encompass themed experiences through parks around the globe.
Universal Studios Florida opened on June 7, 1990 as a working studio and theme park inspired by the company’s film history. The park was originally designed to combine behind-the-scenes production elements with major attractions based on popular movies, though it gradually shifted away from its “working studio” concept as guest demand focused more on immersive rides and themed lands.
Universal Studios Loungefly Backpack – $90

This new black-and-white Loungefly backpack prominently features the entry arches seen out front of both the original Universal Studios Hollywood property and Universal Studios Orlando. Underneath and beyond the arches, the iconic Universal globe structure sits bottom-center on the bag.
The interior and exterior of the the bag feature several visual motifs connected to Universal Studios, including the arches and Universal globe again along with a film projector, theater admission tickets, and a director’s megaphone. The straps are cleverly designed to look like filmstrips, continuing the cinematic theme.

Universal Studios 1912 Varsity Jacket Keychain – $17

This small keychain continues the monochromatic theme through a black varsity jacket design with white trim. On the torso “Universal Studios” and “1912” are featured, the latter referencing the founding year of the company. The reverse side of the jacket showcases a large graphic of the Universal globe.

Universal Studios Lanyard – $14

The filmstrip design returns in the form of a lanyard. Many of the same motifs featured on the Loungefly bag return, each nested within a cel along the length of the filmstrip design. In this case, the motifs bring in some color to the item, while on the reverse side “Universal Studios” is spelled out in the same spaces within each cel, with its black-and-white segments inverted from the reverse.

Location
We found all these items at a merchandise kiosk located just outside of Margaritaville in Universal’s CityWalk.
