UPDATE: Drunk Man Makes Fun of Disabled Guest at Walt Disney World Bar & Gets a Beat Down

Brent George’s face was bleeding and he wasn’t quite sure why when law enforcement arrived at the scene of Disney’s BoardWalk Inn back in 2024. Two years later, released bodycam footage gives more insight into the events that occurred that night.

George, 61, of Sebring, said he was having a “good time” with a group of people in the Belle Vue Lounge at Walt Disney World bar on January 25, 2024, until they attacked him and he ended up getting hit in the head with a glass cup.

After drinking several alcoholic beverages, he reportedly made fun of a female (unknown age) with Down Syndrome. The group she was with confronted George, and that’s when the fight got physical. George shoved the female’s mother twice.  When another woman from the group stood up to intervene, George slapped her across the face.

George then punched a man from the group in the neck. The man punched George back, which was why George’s face was bleeding. However, the arrest report added there was no evidence anyone threw a glass at George.

The fight ended when an unknown bystander grabbed “Brent in a bear hug and removed him from the scene.” George was arrested and taken to jail. He was charged with four counts of battery and pleaded not guilty the following month.

More than two years later, bodycam footage from the police officers who responded to the scene has been shared. George is seen with a female (presumably his wife) as his friend tells the officer that George was struck with a glass. The officer tells George medical help is on the way, and then George is escorted by another female to a nearby chair at the resort.

The friend explains what happened: that everyone was laughing and having a good time; they were making noises so George was too. When asked who threw the glass, the friend responded with “an unknown person.”

The footage cuts to bodycam video of the other group involved in the altercation. The husband of the woman accused of hitting tells the officer that there was pushing and pulling back but that there was no hitting. George then grabbed the woman by the shoulders and slapped/punched his wife.

The attention then moves to the glass that was allegedly thrown. The man tells the officer he is unaware if a glass was thrown at all. There is no evidence of it anywhere. That is where the first video ends.

The second video starts with one police officer talking with another. He says he thought he was talking with the victim (George), but he has “like no story to it.”

Two officers are conversing about what one officer was told by the bystander: that George was wailing on both the young ladies, and a bystander pulled George away to separate the groups. One officer is told that George refuses to write a written statement, and the officer says, “That’s fine. He’s going to go to jail.”

The bodycam footage then changes to one of the officers leading George out of the BoardWalk Inn in handcuffs and into the police cruiser. You can watch both videos below:
