Crews removed roofing from a Disney’s Beach Club Resort building and continue to replace siding across the resort. The walkway to Beach Club Villas is also closed temporarily.
Beach Club Refurbishment
There are construction vehicles behind orange barriers on the sidewalk between EPCOT and Disney’s Beach Club Resort. An A-frame signed warned guests the walkway to the Beach Club Villas will be closed from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Siding has now been replaced on this end of the resort wing. It was covered in scaffolding a few weeks ago. The blue siding was removed and new yellow siding is in place.
The yellow will likely be painted blue after installation is complete. Some windows are missing their white frames.
Weather-proof sheathing and steel framing is exposed on the left side of the wall. During construction, no guests are staying in these rooms.
This small restrooms building, which services the Tidal Pool, now has no roofing. Black sheathing is exposed and may be refurbished or replaced before new roofing is added.
The restrooms and Tidal Pool are closed temporarily. The pool is surrounded by construction walls.
Beyond the construction walls, we could see more walls of the resort with unpainted yellow siding.
The Beach Club refurbishment is extended through 2027. The resort’s porte cochere and Stormalong Bay pool area were refurbished last year. The Beach Club lobby was renovated in 2023.
