Walt Disney World Resort Debuts Magnet Collection Featuring All Four Theme Parks

Park fans can sport a new souvenir style for their favorite Walt Disney World Resort destination with this new magnet collection.

Disney World Park Logo Magnets

During a recent visit to Disney Springs, we noticed a collection of new dimensional magnets inspired by the logos and thematic branding of Walt Disney World’s theme park destinations.

We initially only found three of the four major theme parks represented in this collection, those being Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Animal Kingdom. We later found the Hollywood Studios magnet in April.

Magic Kingdom Magnet – $11.99

WDW Park Magnet series

The Magic Kingdom magnet features the park’s text logo in a colorful design we’ve seen on past items such as spirit jerseys. Each letter of “Magic Kingdom” is inset with a different design meant to evoke a wide range of imagery, characters, and other experiences featured within and around Magic Kingdom.

From left to right, M to m, these include: Monorail red sweeping in front of a tropical scene with a castle backdrop, the Orange Bird, Mickey Mouse himself, it’s a small world, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, the Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, the Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain and Tomorrowland, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and Seven Dwarves Mine Train.

EPCOT Magnet – $11.99

The EPCOT design features a singular geometric pattern that echoes the geodesic structure of the park’s icon, Spaceship Earth. Adjacent to the stylized EPCOT text is the globe-inspired graphic logo designed by Norm Inouye, used at the time of EPCOT Center’s opening and more recently on new merchandise.

Animal Kingdom Magnet – $11.99

The Animal Kingdom Magnet follows a design similar to the inlaid graphics of the Magic Kingdom variant. In this case, each letter of the text for “Animal Kingdom” sports imagery reminiscent of various animals, including tigers, giraffes, zebras and more. Graphics for the “Kingdom” portion of the text feature a variety of environments where one might find these animals, including a savanah, a lush jungle, and birds in a cloudy sky.

Hollywood Studios Magnet – $11.99

Last but not least – Disney’s Hollywood Studios has received its own magnet after a few weeks’ delay following the release of the other three park designs. The Hollywood Studios magnet features the park’s signature wordmark in its stylish typeface, evoking the golden age of Hollywood. A colorful array of building facades is printed against the “Studios” portion of the logo, including the silhouettes of the Tower of Terror, the Chinese Theater, the Crossroads of the World tower, and other storefronts found along Sunset Boulevard.

Location

We found these magnets in World of Disney at Disney Springs, with the exception of Hollywood Studios, which we first found at that park in the Once Upon a Time shop.

Given the nature of their designs, it’s possible that these magnets may be available in their respective parks.
