Several smaller projects are currently taking place around Disney’s Polynesian Resort, including Trader Sam’s Tiki Terrace, the Great Ceremonial House, and other buildings.
Great Ceremonial House

At the Great Ceremonial House, it appears some repainting has occurred on the vertical beams that run up and down the side of the building. One side of the beam looks like the older, lighter color while the other side (and other beams) are a darker color.

Several crew members were working on various projects, however it’s hard to tell exactly what is taking place.

Located next to the Great Ceremonial House, crews are painting the railings, as well as the door that leads inside.

And, there are temporary stairs to make the upper portion of the building more accessible for crew members (not guests!).
Tiki Terrace

There are no changes at Tiki Terrace since our last update. We do not have a reopening date, but fortunately, the nearby Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto opens at 11 a.m. every day for Tiki drinks and food. The Tiki Terrace was also previously open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
