Darth Vader made his first Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge appearance at Disneyland during Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite on April 28, the day before the land’s official timeline shift.
Darth Vader Arrives at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

The Sith Lord entered (through Kylo Ren’s command shuttle) after a pair of Stormtroopers, who discussed their new home of Black Spire Outpost. Vader announced his intention to find Luke Skywalker. The scene was set to John Williams’ famous “Imperial March” from the original Star Wars films.
On April 29, the timeline of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will officially shift, with half of the land now set during the original trilogy. Vader replaces Kylo wandering Batuu and John Williams’ movie scores will play in the land. We don’t know yet if this entrance show was exclusive to Star Wars Nite or if this is how Vader will arrive during the day, too.

In addition to Vader, guests will also be able to meet Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, and Princess Leia in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, joining Chewbacca and R2-D2. Rey will continue to appear near Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, which remains set during the sequels.
