Disney is expanding its Airport Luggage Transfer service to include more airlines, adding to the existing Southwest Airlines coverage from April 2025.
Disney World’s Airport Luggage Transfer Service Expanded

The service, operated by BagCheck, was first announced in early April 2025 for Southwest Airlines departures only. It allowed guests to drop their checked bags at the resort before heading to Orlando International Airport (MCO). The pilot program started at Disney’s Pop Century Resort before being expanded to other Value Resorts. By November 2025, Disney expanded the service to include Southwest Airlines arrivals as well.
Now, the service will be offered for two more airlines: American Airlines and United Airlines. Disney has indicated that additional airlines could be added in the future as well.

Here’s how the service works:
Arrivals
If you want your bags delivered to your resort after arriving at MCO:
- Register at enroll.bagcheck.com between 5 and 30 days before your flight.
- You will need your Disney Resorts Collection hotel confirmation number and your airline confirmation number.
- Luggage tags will be mailed to you if you register more than 7 days before your flight. Register within 7 days, and no tags will be sent, but your bags will still be delivered.
- Check in for your flight as normal and drop off bags with your airline at the airport.
- When you land at MCO, skip baggage claim and head straight to your resort.
- Contact Luggage Assistance at your resort (either by in-room phone or in-person at the lobby) to collect your bags.
If your flight arrives after 11:00 PM, your bags can be collected either at MCO’s baggage claim or wait up to four hours for BagCheck to deliver them to your resort.
Departures
If you want your bags delivered to MCO upon leaving your resort:
- Check in for your flight online starting 24 hours before departure and pay any baggage fees through your airline’s app or website.
- Drop your bags at Luggage Assistance in the resort lobby at least 4 hours before your flight. You will need a valid photo ID.
- After arriving at the airport, go to security and collect your bags at baggage claim at your destination.
Luggage Assistance is available 24 hours a day, and it’s strongly encouraged to drop off bags the night before your flight whenever possible.
Signage was installed last year at the resorts to direct guests where to drop off their luggage.

The following Disney Value Resort hotels are offering this service:
- Disney’s Pop Century Resort
- Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
- Disney’s All-Star Music Resort
- Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort
- Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
Guests staying at a Moderate Resort hotel or Deluxe Resort hotel can choose to swap hotels to a Value Resort for their final night stay to take advantage of the BagCheck service.
Other important notes about the service are that boarding passes must be ready before drop-off (printing is not available at the resorts), and if your flight is canceled, your bags will automatically be redirected to your new flight.
