All throughout Disney Week of Wishes, Disney is spotlighting the nearly 200 wishes they have granted this week. One of these wishes belongs to Lilo, a five-year-old girl.
Lilo’s Wish to Meet Cinderella at the Disneyland Resort

Disney first met Lilo and her family at the UCLA Mattel Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles, where they threw a holiday party featuring a Zootopia 2 movie screening and a visit from Stitch. Lilo’s parents, Norma and Eder, shared their story with Disney and how Lilo wished to visit Disneyland and meet Princess Cinderella.

A few months later, Lilo’s wish was granted. Before the park opened, 158 cast members lined Main Street, U.S.A. to greet the family.

Fairy Godmother then arrived and helped Lilo into Cinderella’s royal carriage for an early morning story time.

Lilo received the full princess treatment at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique with her hair and makeup done by a Fairy Godmother’s Apprentice. Her dad, Eder, said that the makeover was amazing to watch, especially knowing how, at one point, Lilo “didn’t have any hair that Mom could comb. Just watching her hair grow and the stylist doing a professional job really touched my heart. She’s able to experience what other little girls get to experience.”

Lilo’s wish fully came true when she met Cinderella in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, giving the princess a big hug.

The family stayed at the Disneyland Hotel for the rest of their vacation, enjoying both theme parks and even a character meet and greet with Stitch.
