During Disney Week of Wishes, Disney VoluntEARS will assemble more than 10,000 wish kits to be distributed to Make-A-Wish families across the U.S.
VoluntEARS Assemble Wish Kits
The kits include wish trip travel essentials like a luggage tag and memory book. Disney cast members and employees from California and Hawaii to New York are assembling kits this week.
The series of VoluntEARS projects kicked off at Walt Disney Studios in Burbank. In Florida, around 100 cast members gathered to continue the momentum, packing 2,500 wish-granting kits.
For Disney Week of Wishes, several Disney social media profiles are currently sporting icons drawn by wish kids. Disney shared the story of aspiring animator EJ, who got to visit Disney Animation Studios and draw alongside Disney Legend Eric Goldberg. Walt Disney World revealed its reimagined Wish Lounge. Disneyland Resort hosted the Wishes Assemble event in Avengers Campus.
Make-A-Wish honored former Disney CEO Bob Iger with their first-ever WishMaker Lifetime Achievement Award.
