The guitar-shaped Rock Around the Shop sign is now gone from outside the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster gift shop in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The store’s wall sign was removed a few weeks ago.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Construction
The guitar-shaped sign was in this flowerbed located outside the shop entrance. It was visible around rolling planters but is now gone.
The shop may get a new name with the Muppets takeover and therefore new signage. It’s also possible the signs were removed for refurbishment and will return.
No more scaffolding is visible over the construction walls in front of the Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster guitar. Earlier this week, the scaffolding began to come down, revealing the guitar. A few days ago, only a few poles of scaffolding were visible to the side.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets will open on May 26, 2026. Check out our last look at Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, which closed permanently at the beginning of March.
Disney released the complete tracklist for the Muppets ride featuring rock covers by The Electric Mayhem. In the queue will be Muppet props, The Electric Mayhem posters, and celebrity cameos.
Disney confirmed Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster previews for Cast Members, Disney Vacation Club Members, and Annual Passholders.
