Orangutan will be streaming on Disney+ beginning on Earth Day, April 22. Watch the trailer below.

Disneynature is Disney’s film studio specializing in nature documentaries. It was established in 2008 after the success of the French documentary March of the Penguins, which Disney’s Buena Vista International France distributed.

Disneynature releases films on or around Earth Day almost every year. Its last several films, all exclusive to Disney+, include Sea Lions of the Galapagos narrated by Brendan Fraser, Tiger narrated by Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Polar Bear narrated by Catherine Keener, and Elephant narrated by Meghan Markle. They released March of the Penguins 2: The Next Step in 2017.

In 2014, Jane Goodall was named Disneynature ambassador and the primatologist worked on several Disneynature films before her passing, including Chimpanzee (2012).
