Cosmic Kebabs is one of several quick-service restaurants available on the Disney Adventure. Take a tour of the space, with a look at the overall design, seating area, and fun details.
Cosmic Kebabs
Welcome to Cosmic Kebabs, a casual eatery honoring Kamala Khan—Marvel’s first Muslim-American Super Hero! Choose the dish you want from a menu bursting with flavorful Middle Eastern culinary treats, including mouthwatering kebabs, pitas, tabbouleh and baba ghanoush.
Inspired by the aesthetic of Ms. Marvel, Cosmic Kebabs is a vibrant Jersey City loft, decked with colorful graphic art and memorabilia celebrating her love of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes!
Cosmic Kebabs is located on Deck 10 Midship near other quick-service restaurants like Bewitching Boba & Brews and Stitch’s ‘Ohana Grill. During the maiden voyage, guests had to book their return time for eating at the quick-service restaurants via the DCL Navigator app. They stopped doing it during subsequent sailings, but this process could return at any time.
Entrance and Interior
The Cosmic Kebabs sign welcomes you in with this very Marvel-esque text and design. The “S” looks like the lightning bolt on Kamala Khan’s chest.
A small hallway leads guests from the entrance to the main dining room. It has exposed brick walls and herringbone-patterned flooring, as well as a blue tiled accent wall with a lightning bolt and themed lighting.
Panels featuring Marvel characters line the walls as you walk through the hallway. Characters include Iron Man, Captain America, the Hulk, and Ms. Marvel herself. The other panels have geometric designs.
Seating Area
Stepping into the eclectically-designed dining room, there are several square tables with cushioned chairs in teals and browns. There is bench seating along the wall in the back. The ceiling features decorative, geometric light fixtures; the flooring alternates between cement and tan and orange carpet with geometric designs.
Exposed brick walls have murals and artwork featuring Ms. Marvel and other characters.
Themed lighting is on the the columns, and colorful string lights along the back wall add to the overall theming of the space.
Crew members behind the counter will serve your food.
Menu and Review
Cosmic Kebabs offers build-your-own-bowls (or platters) featuring Grilled Kebabs, Lamb or Chicken, Shawarma, Vegetable Shish, Char-grilled Spiced Sausage, and Falafel.
Breads, Accompaniments, and Sides include:
- Pita Bread
- Whole Wheat Pita
- Hummus
- Pickled Red Cabbage
- Tabbouleh Salad
- Baba Ghanoush
- Sumac Red Onion
- Soft Pita
- Seasoned French Fries
Toppings include Diced Cucumbers, Diced Tomatoes, Iceberg Lettuce, Fetta Cheese Crumbles, and Tzatziki.
Some of the condiments and sauces available are Tomato Chili Sauce, Ketchup, Yogurt Sauce, and Garlic Tahini.
There are no drink stations in here, so you’ll want to bring your own drinks from outside.
Overall, Cosmic Kebabs is a solid quick-service restaurant, but it is not as good as some of the other locations like Gramma Tala’s Kitchen. The Lamb Shawarma was very good, and the flavor of the Falafel was good as well. However, the dryness ruined it.
You will need some type of sauce or hummus to help combat the dryness of the Falafel. Like the other quick-service restaurants on the ship, we thought the themed platters and dishes were excellent for the overall theming of the space.
