The Florida theme park injuries report is out for the first quarter of 2026. These includes incidents at Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort theme parks.
Theme Park Injuries Report
Major theme parks in Florida are required to self-report guest injuries that require 24+ hours of hospitalization to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. The Department publishes a quarterly report of the injuries. The most recent update covers incidents from January to March 2026.
Although each injury or symptom is listed along with the ride that they occurred on or near, the incidents are not necessarily a result of the ride. The only details shared are the date, ride, age and sex of the person involved, and their basic injury or symptom.
Walt Disney World Injuries

There were only two reported injuries at Walt Disney World. On February 2, a 65-year-old female fell while exiting Prince Charming Regal Carrousel at Magic Kingdom and injured her pelvis.
On February 17, a 40-year-old female with a pre-existing condition injured her shoulder while on Kali River Rapids at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Universal Orlando Resort

At Universal Orlando Resort, there were a surprising amount of incidents on the relatively mild Hogwarts Express, which travels between Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure. On January 23, a 34-year-old male had a seizure. On February 28, a 58-year-old male with a pre-existing condition experienced chest pressure. Similarly, a 66-year-old female with a pre-existing condition experienced chest pressure on March 9.
Elsewhere, a 61-year-old male experienced stroke symptoms at Jurassic World VelociCoaster in Universal Islands of Adventure on February 4.
A 58 year-old female with a pre-existing condition also experienced stroke symptoms that day but at Jimmy Fallon’s Race Through New York in Universal Studios Florida.
On February 14, a 7-year-old female at experienced “leg swelling/deformity” at Tot Tiki Reef in Universal Volcano Bay.
A 39-year-old male experienced stroke symptoms on February 24 at Donkey Kong Mine-Cart Madness in Epic Universe.
