During our April 28 visit to Disneyland, we noticed a new mystery structure is being built next to Edelweiss Snacks.
New Structure Next to Edelweiss Snacks

Edelweiss Snacks is a quick service eatery located across from Matterhorn Bobsleds, known for serving turkey legs, slushies, and the Fantasyland Garlic Cheesy Brat. Edelweiss Snacks closed for refurbishment in February 2026 before reopening in early March.
However, construction walls continue to surround the area while the kiosk remains open. Now, it appears these walls stayed up because a new building is being added to the area.

The new structure taking shape matches the alpine chalet design of Edelweiss Snacks. The building is created using dark wood and features steeped roofs and curved archways.

Though the building is not fully complete, it appears to be an open-air structure, possibly for seating or some other purpose. Disney has not officially announced yet what is being built in this area.
