Crew members are installing insulation on the exterior of The Glob theater in Monstropolis, formerly home of MuppetVision 3D.

Exterior brick work was stripped from the theater’s facade a few weeks ago, leaving large gaps above the entrance and on the clock tower. Concept art indicates these areas will eventually be covered by new decorative elements. Before those can be installed, however, crews are placing new insulation on the building.

Existing yellow insulation can be seen behind the plastic tarps on the front of the theater. This is where a new marquee will go.

The clock tower, on the other hand, is getting pink insulation. These areas will be covered by green paneling.

Insulation helps contain heat or keep it out of a building.
