PHOTOS: 25th Anniversary Sparkling Jubilee Decor Throughout Tokyo DisneySea

Tokyo DisneySea is getting all decked out for the Sparkling Jubilee celebration. This 25th anniversary will take place in the park from April 15, 2026, through March 31, 2027. Many areas of the park have specialty decor for the event.

Arabian Coast

Right in front of the Magic Lamp Theater is a vibrant, gilded-esque 25th anniversary display. It shows Genie working his magic, surrounded by blue-tinted "oil" lamps. Gold-toned walls with elaborate designs surround him, the "25" prominently placed at the center.

Elsewhere around the display are more blue elements, a nod to the Sparkling Jubilee's colorful aesthetic.

Around the display are diamond-shaped lighting fixtures stuck into the ground. They appear to glow blue at night.

Also strewn throughout the area are 25th anniversary portrait banners. In teal with floral and filigree accents, these six banners showcase some of the main characters from Aladdin. These include Abu, Rajah, the Sultan, Aladdin (as Prince Ali), Genie, and Jasmine.

Even the arches at the Arabian Coast got the Sparkling Jubilee treatment. Two banners with the “25” are hung on either side, but the arches themselves appear to have been painted in the same crystal blue color.

Mermaid Lagoon

Over in Mermaid Lagoon, the character banners continue. This art style is a bit more whimsical and free-flowing than in the Arabian Coast area. These banners are a wavy triangle, almost resembling a fish fin, with bubble and water patterns featuring characters from The Little Mermaid. The one above shows Ariel.

Other character banners found here are Sebastian, Chef Louis, Grimsby, Flounder, King Triton, and Prince Eric.

Lost River Delta

Lining the bridge at Lost River Delta are blue-patterned Sparkling Jubilee banners featuring stylized versions of The Sensational Six as well as Chip 'n' Dale.

Among the character portrait banners are Sparkling Jubilee 25 banners. These are patterned with stars and dots. The banners are primarily shades of blue; however, other pops of color, like red, also appear.

Similar to the individual banners shown in other areas at the park, the characters are shown as side profile portraits. However, these classic characters are shown in their exclusive Sparkling Jubilee attire. Shown above are Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, and Donald.

Goofy, Pluto, Chip, and Dale are also featured.

Light poles in the area also have character wraps on them, along with thematic floral decorations. The wraps have the same design as this area's banners, with characters on them like the one shown above with Daisy and Donald.

Over by Miguel's El Dorado Cantina, one of the walls is painted with a celebratory mural. The mural shows the Sparkling Jubilee wordmark surrounded by blue scrollwork and white stars.

AquaSphere Plaza

Over in AquaSphere Plaza, the classic Disney characters receive a more ethereal design. Looking like drawn-out constellations in the sky, Mickey and Minnie are shown amongst the stars on this passageway banner. Silver scrollwork surrounds them, and a "25" is showcased in the center. The columns around the passageway are wrapped in shimmering blue fabric.

Over in front of the AquaSpher itself is a display of Minnie and Mickey dancing in front of a romantic gazebo. They're both wearing their Sparkling Jubilee outfits. Hanging blue star lanterns are strung up around them, and the "25" is sitting atop the gazebo.

Elsewhere, more character banners are strung up. These reflect the same ethereal, star-like images as the big banner over the passageway. Characters shown here include Pluto, Minnie, Mickey, Chip ‘n’ Dale, Goofy, and Donald.

MiraCosta Passageway

Inside the MiraCosta Passageway, the walkway that connects Tokyo DisneySea and Hotel MiraCosta, there is more vibrant Sparkling Jubilee decor. Resembling stained glass, this decor has three parts. At the center is a "window" featuring the "25" marker and "panes" of blue, teal, and patterned "glass."

Above other parts of the walkway are similar “window” designs but featuring the ethereal Minnie and Mickey images from the big banner in the AquaSphere Plaza area.

Smaller celebratory banners and blue flower decorations are seen on some of the columns in the passageway.

Emporio

The Emporio shop has also changed over a display window for the Sparkling Jubilee celebration. Similar to the display at the AquaSphere, Minnie and Mickey are shown in their anniversary outfits dancing. Decorative elements around them look like water streaming up from somewhere below.

Mediterranean Harbor

Over in Mediterranean Harbor, the same ethereal character design carries over again. This time, there are dual banners, one with the characters to the right and one with the "25" to the left, as shown above. The banners are teal and blue with decorative stars and lines strewn throughout. This one shows Chip 'n' Dale.

American Waterfront

Over in the American Waterfront area, some of the dining spots received a light decoration for the celebration. Liberty Landing Diner, shown above, has blue ribbons and foliage on the awning poles and light poles.

The Sparkling Jubilee merchandise booths in this section also reflect the color theming. The roofs and signage are in shades of blue and teal to complement the other decor.

In addition to the Sparkling Jubilee, the Tokyo Disney Sea Food & Wine Festival is also happening shortly. The banners for this festival, which runs from April 15 to June 30, highlight characters enjoying the culinary arts with a Sparkling Jubilee wordmark at the top. The one above shows Remy dining on cheese and strawberries.

Although the Remy banner is blue, not all the banners are in the Sparkling Jubilee color family. This one of Minnie and Mickey enjoying a beverage together is in a bold maroon hue with pink detailing.

Sebastian is seen holding seaweed and a fork (dinglehopper) in the pink banner above.

Daisy and Donald are sharing some pancakes by the water on this blue and gold banner.

Chip ‘n’ Dale have been enjoying a hearty helping of grapes on this mustard and blue colored banner.

On a dark purple and pink banner, Genie is shown juggling a smorgasbord.

Finally, on this chocolate brown and purple banner, Pluto and Fifi are seen ogling the windows at a local bakery.

Mysterious Island

The ethereal banners continue over at Mysterious Island. These have the same character designs but with a shapely portrait frame around each one.

Port Discovery

Over at Port Discovery, turqouise banners that match the ironwork they’re hung on are decorated with the ethereal character designs from elsewhere in the park. These banners have white ovals surrounding the characters with stars dotted throughout the design.

Horizontal variations of the banners are seen elsewhere. Three character images are shown before a “25” in that pattern.

Flag-style banners also carry this turquoise color around the edges with a “25” or characters in the center surrounded by ivory stars and looping lines. A smaller strip of fabric reads “Sparkling Jubilee” on the other side of the pole.

The same flag-style banner is seen with character images as well, which include Minnie, Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, and Chip ‘n’ Dale.

Cape Cod

Lastly, Cape Cod has its own set of Sparkling Jubilee banners. These are hung from the lightpoles on the walkway. They are blue with nautical design elements like a helm wheel above the words "Cape Cod." Rope images also line the outermost part of the banner.

Minnie and Mickey are also featured in these Cape Cod area banners. They are in their celebration outfits, but in a blue-grey scale gradient.
