During Universal Fan Fest Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood, guests can enjoy a romp through the eras of the Jurassic Park films. This includes dinos from the major motion pictures and placards describing where they came from.
A Journey Through the Eras
As you approach the walkthrough attraction, you see the iconic Jurassic Park arches, and Dr. John Hammond is there too. He is ready to greet guests as they come to his park.
Note that, although the walkthrough attraction covers the span of Jurassic Park‘s 30 years of films, it does not keep the same film items together, as you’ll see below.
Dr. Hammond is wearing his signature sun hat and white linen shirt and pants ensemble.
You’ll also spot Dr. Henry Wu, holding a clipboard and looking very official. “Theme from Jurassic Park” plays all around as you walk through this area.
The first exhibit you see is the T.rex from Jurassic Park, circa 1993, beside the Ingen Convy Truck from The Lost World: Jurassic Park from 1997.
Next is the InGen Hunter Snagger with a raptor on it from The Lost World: Jurassic Park from 1997.
Then comes a giant Spinosaurus from Jurassic Park III, which came out in 2001. As you walk through, you can hear dinos growling.
Raptor Bites is also open for selling beverages and snacks, including hard seltzers and cotton candy.
Nearby is the Gyrosphere from 2015’s Jurassic World. This vehicle helped guests at Jurassic Park see the dinosaurs up close in the film.
An herbivore is next on the tour with a visit to the Brachiosaurus from the original Jurassic Park in 1993.
Behind the Brachiosaurus is Jeep 29, also from the original film.
Next is a raptor standing on top of the InGen River Boat from Jurassic Park III, circa 2001.
Guests can also say hello to one of the little raptors with their raptor handler. The one shown above is Tango.
If you meander far enough, you’ll run into Ian Malcolm, who is ready to greet every guest with a grin. He is in all black and his sunglasses.
Then you’ll find a Velociraptor standing on top of a cage. This particular dinosaur is from Jurassic World in 2015.
You can also see The Jurassic Experience with one of the animatronic dinosaurs that walk around, like Juliet the Triceratops.
A pair of musicians is also playing steel drums in the area. One of them is decorated with colorful sun and planet images.
