As teased earlier this week, one of the categories on last night’s episode of Jeopardy! was “Disneyland 70th Celebration,” highlighting fun facts about the original Disney theme park.
Disneyland 70th Celebration on Jeopardy!

Host Ken Jennings appeared in videos filmed at Disneyland to give answers about attractions, Sleeping Beauty Castle, and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Questions include:
- As envisioned by Walt Disney and his earliest Imagineers, Main Street, U.S.A., with its turn-of-the-century nostalgia, was inspired in part by Walt’s own upbringing in this state.
- One of Adventureland’s star attractions is the Jungle Cruise, taking you along remote rivers on boats originally inspired by the one skippered by Humphrey Bogart in this classic film.
- One of the original features at Disneyland, one that opened in 1955, Sleeping Beauty Castle drew inspiration from this famous castle in Bavaria.
See all the trivia in the video below.
The Disneyland 70th anniversary celebration began last year and runs through August 9. Special offerings include The Celebrate Happy Cavalcade, Wondrous Journeys, Paint the Night parade, World of Color Happiness!, and Tapestry of Happiness, plus a variety of 70th anniversary merchandise.
