While refurbishment work continues on the Surfboard Bay Pool at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort, crews have added new lounge chairs to the pool deck.

Surfboard Bay Pool Refurbishment

The new chairs have blue padding in white frames. The old chairs were all white with slatted backs.

There are both standard chairs and adjustable loungers. Their arrival is a good sign the refurbishment is wrapping up.

The pool has also been refilled. In February, much of the concrete flooring was removed. It has now been replaced.

Crew members were still working on a section of the deck where pavement had been removed.

The pool refurbishment began in January and was scheduled until April. A cast member said they are hoping reopen next week.

The kiddie pool is also closed for maintenance. The Grand Slam Leisure Pool and other All-Star Resorts pools remain open.
