The 2026 Disney Upfront marketing and advertising livestream is happening right now, and a Banana Ball announcement just dropped: the 2026 Banana Bowl championship game this October will exclusively air on Disney+.

The Banana Bowl landing at Disney+ is only the latest move in the ongoing partnership between Disney and the increasingly popular new sport of Banana Ball, an especially entertaining take on baseball. The games are limited to two hours long, and the players participate in dance routines, comedy sketches, and other gags during the game.

Banana Ball games will take place on May 29 and 30, 2026, at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World. Teams taking part in the ESPN Wide World of Sports event include the Party Animals and the new Loco Beach Coconuts.

Disneyland hosted its second annual Savannah Bananas Day on March 26, 2026, featuring fan meet and greets, dance numbers, merchandise, and a special cavalcade.
