The stone chimney still stands tall above the construction walls.

The kiosk has already been removed from the park’s digital map, and now the webpage for Big Al’s has also vanished from the Walt Disney World website.

Big Al’s, located directly outside Country Bear Musical Jamboree in Frontierland, was a merchandise stand designed to look like the titular bear’s cabin. It started as an attraction ticket booth when Magic Kingdom opened in 1971 before becoming a carving location and finally a merchandise kiosk in 1989. If Big Al’s is demolished, the last remaining former ride ticket booths in the park would be the current Disney Vacation Club kiosk in Tomorrowland and a portion of the Memento Mori facade in Liberty Square.

The original Magic Kingdom structure is being demolished for the ongoing construction of Piston Peak National Park, the new Cars-themed land replacing the opening-day Rivers of America area. The Westward Ho snack stand is also expected to close this summer while nearby snack carts will be relocated.
