The new bus stop is almost complete at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort while other construction projects continue.
Bus Stop

The bus stop now has lanterns hanging at each end. The lanterns consist of lights inside glass balls wrapped in twine. The lights were illuminated, which means electricity is running to the structure now.

A crew member was working on closing up the gutters, apparently one of the last steps before the project is complete. The adjacent roadway appears to be finished.
Great Ceremonial House

The exterior of the lobby building — the Great Ceremonial House — is going through a refurbishment. The vertical beams were repainted and other elements are being replaced.

We saw crew members actively installing new boards during our Wednesday visit.
Tuvalu

Months later, crews are still working on the Tuvalu building’s roof. All the old orange paneling was removed. There’s new paneling at the lagoon end but it has yet to be painted.
Boat Dock

The boat dock closed a few days ago and crew members have already removed much of the dock’s flooring. This routine refurbishment is scheduled through Friday, June 5.
