A limited release talking Buzz Lightyear action figure celebrates 250 years of the United States of America. Its now available for purchase at Disneyland Resort. We spotted it at World of Disney in Downtown Disney District.
Buzz Lightyear Talking Action Figure America 250th Anniversary – $49.99
Instead of green and purple, Buzz’s white spacesuit has blue and red elements. White stars are across his blue chest plate, with red stripes below. More stars at the ends of his wings and on the trim of his gauntlets and boots.
The rocket ship-inspired box includes the same Americana color scheme and stars.
Buzz is poseable with a rotating head and articulated joints. The buttons on his chest activate 10+ character phrases, including:
- “Buzz Lightyear at your service.”
- “To infinity and beyond!”
- “Scanning perimeter.”
- “No time to explain, attack!”
- “The slightest maneuver is all we got. Full steam ahead.”
- “Laser at full power.”
You can also press the “Laser” button on his arm for light and sound effects, make his arm do a karate chop, retract his helmet, and release his wings. “Andy” is on the bottom of his boot.
The toy, recommended for ages 3 and up, is approximately 12.5″ tall. It comes with 3 required AAA batteries.
