Epic Universe Introduces 'Open Hub' Concept for Celestial Park, Allowing Limited Access

Attendees of an upcoming beauty conference in Orlando will be the first to experience Celestial Park as an “open hub,” confirming the rumors surrounding the installation of facial recognition devices around the park.

Last month, Universal started testing photo validation at individual Epic Universe portals, indicating they could potentially sell tickets just for Celestial Park in the future.

This would mean guests could access Celestial Park’s dining (including Pizza Moon, Atlantic, and The Blue Dragon), shopping, and live entertainment, but would not be able to pass through any portals. We don’t yet know how Stardust Racers and the Constellation Carousel would fit into the Open Hub approach, as both attractions are officially located in Celestial Park.

We now know that Universal is already utilizing this concept for private events, as a sponsored Instagram post made by Premiere Beauty Shows reveals that a perk for an upcoming Orlando conference is complimentary admission to Celestial Park, including parking.

Enjoy an evening of complimentary admission* to the Celestial Park area of Universal Epic Universe, where you’ll have access to a variety of dining, shopping, and live entertainment.

Complimentary self-parking available after 5 pm.

Just present your Premiere Orlando Conference Badge/ID at the park entrance. Dining reservations for parties larger than six can be booked via [email protected].

*Restrictions apply.

Like the rest of Epic Universe, Celestial Park is steeped in lore, this time all original to the park. Learn more about the stories and characters behind the stores and eateries.
